Why Here?

We think this is a good site for a solar farm because:

  • The site has good access to the A1077
  • There is availability for us to connect into the grid locally and export the electricity.
  • It benefits from natural screening and is suitability distanced from residential properties and surrounding villages to ensure there are no significant impacts.
  • There are no designated sites or protected habitats identified in the vicinity of the site.

The site, shown in red on the map below, is around 52 hectares, although the full area may not be developed.
